    • Status: Inspection Completed / Preventive Recommendations Issued 1. DOOR LOCKS & BODY ELECTRICAL Customer Concern: Driver’s side door lock will only unlock. Diagnostic Findings: Performed multiple functional tests on the driver’s side door lock actuator. Condition could not be duplicated at this time. The system operated as designed during shop testing. No visible wiring damage at the door hinge/harness. E-Brake System: Researched Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) regarding e-brake cable routing for this specific VIN. No applicable TSBs found. Routing is within factory specifications. 2. INFOTAINMENT / STEREO SYSTEM Customer Concern: Issues with the stereo display/functionality. Recommendation: Based on the current symptoms, we recommend performing a Manufacturer Software Update (if available from Chevrolet) to address system glitches before considering hardware replacement. 3. COOLING SYSTEM (FLUSH & LEAK INSPECTION) Inspection Results: Pressure test performed. No active coolant leaks found at the radiator or main hoses. Service Recommendation: Customer requested a Coolant Flush. Critical Preventive Maintenance: Highly recommend replacing the plastic heater core connectors and the plastic hose nipple located above the radiator. These plastic components are prone to thermal fatigue and brittle failure. Replacing them during the coolant flush is the most cost-effective way to prevent a future overheating event. 4. SUSPENSION & CHASSIS Inspection Results: Performed physical and visual inspection of the front shocks. Units are in good operating condition with no signs of leaking or loss of damping. Replacement is not required at this time.

    • VEHICLE TOWED TO THE SHOP 3-11-26
    • FOUND:Vehicle: 2021 Chevrolet Blazer 2.0L Initial Condition: Engine cranks but fails to start. Dead battery found upon arrival; required external power support to complete diagnostic testing. 1. (Testing Arguments) Spark (Ignition): VERIFIED. Spark is present at the plugs, confirming that the ignition system and crankshaft position sensor (CKP) are functioning correctly. Compression: VERIFIED. Cylinders maintain proper pressure, ruling out internal mechanical failures or timing chain jumps. Fuel: FAILURE DETECTED. No fuel delivery. The lack of pressure at the fuel rail confirms the delivery system is inactive. 2. Electronic Analysis & Root Cause Finding: Lack of communication with the Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM). Technical Argument: The scanner shows a "No Communication" status with the module that controls the pump. Without this digital signal, the fuel pump will not prime or run, regardless of the pump's physical condition. The dead battery was likely caused by excessive cranking attempts or an internal system draw. 3. Conclusion & Dealer Recommendation Status: Fault originates in the electronic fuel management (FPCM Module). Action: It is recommended to refer the vehicle to the Authorized Dealer. Warranty Justification: As a 2021 model, this failure is typically covered under the Powertrain Warranty or specific GM Service Bulletins/Recalls related to fuel module defects.

    • FOUND:Error Code: P0300 (Random or multiple cylinder misfire detected) The vehicle exhibits a rough idle, loss of power, and a flashing Check Engine Light. Testing confirmed a lack of spark in one or more cylinders. The ignition coil pack is failing internally, and the spark plugs are excessively worn, which created high resistance and led to the module failure. Replacement of the ignition coil pack and a complete set of new spark plugs (gapped at 0.040 to 0.043 inches). Clear DTCs and perform a road test to verify the repair.

    • FOUND:Customer Complaint: Noise when braking. Technical Findings: Remaining Lifespan: Front brake pads have a thickness greater than 6 mm and the rear pads are over 7 mm, which indicates they still have friction material remaining. Cause of Noise: The system experienced overheating. This has caused the surface of both the rotors (discs) and the pads to glaze (crystallize), removing the necessary porosity for quiet, efficient braking. Recommendations: Minimum Service: Resurfacing (machining/turning) the rotors and replacing the brake pads to eliminate the glazed layer. Optimal Recommendation (Standard Warranty): Full replacement of both rotors and pads to ensure maximum performance and completely eliminate the recurrence of the noise.

    • FOUND:Concern verified, we found a low coolant level, we performed a pressure test and found no apparent leaks. We checked the cap and it does not retain any pressure and has failed. We also noticed that the fans are not working and found a fault code (U0632 Lost Communication with Engine Cooling Fan). We performed a circuit check and found that the fan module is not responding. We checked the fans and they passed the test, the module has failed. The spark plugs were also removed to check with a borescope camera if the coolant was entering the combustion chamber. We found the interior of the combustion chamber clean, and we found carbon deposits and spark plugs in poor condition.
