    • FOUND:An intermittent fault code, P0411, was found: Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected. A visual inspection was performed, revealing no apparent faults. The entire secondary air system was tested and inspected. We performed a logic check and found the fault occurred when the PCM tried to analyze the secondary air system for proper operation. This was all related to an engine malfunction that caused the oxygen sensors to stick in a lean mixture. Smoke was induced, and we found a broken intake hose. R&R: LOWER AIR DUCT INTAKE HOSE RETEST The new hose was installed, and we found the fault had disappeared. We found the catalytic converters in poor condition. Although they passed the monitor, they were clogged, causing a loss of power at high RPMs.
