CUSTOMER STATES, WAS DRIVING AND VEHICLE STARTED MISFIRING THEN WENT INTO LIMP MODE.
FOUND: Concer verified found P0300 random misifre and P0174 bank 2 fuel system too lean current codes in the PCM, after a test drive found abnormal data from the Bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor has no correlation with the B2S2 O2 sensor suspect from bad O2 sensor becouse al the data pids are working normaly (grames per second from maf 1&2, temp sensor, fuel pressure, vacuum) Suggest swap b1s1 o2 sensor to b2s1 location to recreate the concern and see if it follows the b2s1 sensor. after visual inspection found the head of the b2s1 o2 sensor round up. (most likely needs to be extracted).

CUSTOMER REQUESTS – CHECK AND ADVISE VEHICLE ANOTHER MEHANIC SAYS HEAD GASKET NEED REPLACEMENT
FOUND:verified problem, misfire when the car starts, also while the engine is running, the spark plugs are removed and a camera is introduced to see the inside of the cylinder. It was found that without pressure in the cooling system, the antifreeze was intruding into the combustion chamber (see attached photos). It is not recommended to drive the vehicle in its current state, a more detailed inspection of the internal engine components is recommended to verify their correct operation after performing a head gasket repair. suggest tear down the engine and verify the piston rings, valves, and all internal (because water intrusion) and if the components are within spec suggest R &R head gasket kit

FOUND: verified concern, found P0305 stored in PCM, performed test drive but found no issues during, swapped coils 5 and 2 and performed test drive once more, no faults occurred. removed plugs in bank 1 and performed compression test and found compression was optimal and numbers were similar across all of bank 1, after compression test performed leakage test, and found cylinder 5 to have 17% to 24% leakage. cylinders 1 and 3 both showed 9% to 14% leakage, cylinder 5 leakage can be considered excessive, however does not seem to be cause of current customer concern, recommend replacing valve cove gaskets as spark plug tube seals are leaking into spark plug wells. recommend monitoring for future misfires and addressing concerns at that point in time.

verified concern. Found cylinder #3 Misfiring, previously cylinder 3 had misfired on last visit. and all ignition coils were replaced inspected ignition system this time around and found ignition coil 3 had failed once more, arcing and grounding itself due to faulty insulation. ignition coil was replaced under warranty, no further issues.

FOUND: verified concern, found P0106 stored in PCM, however CEL not illuminated. after inspection of Data, found MAP sensor readings to be normal at all operating ranges, found with oil cap removed as well as dipstick crankcase vacuum was higher than expected. inspected PCV diaphragm at weep hole and found normal operation, PCV seems to be experiencing, early signs of failure. inspected intake system for leaks and found none. fuel trims normal. recommend replacing PCV diaphragm. and removing and cleaning MAP sensor or replacing sensor

B162E-15-LEFT LOW BEAM CONTROL – CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY OR OPEN – BASE LAMPS CIRCUIT WAS TESTED AND FOUND THE WIRING BETWEEN THE FUSE BOX (RELAY AND FUSE TO THE ACTUAL HID LIGHT) CIRCUIT ITS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION FOUND VOLTAGE AT THE FUSE BOX BUT AFTER LOAD TEST FOUND LACK OF POWER IN THE POWER FROM THE IPDM (FUSE BOX) CIRCUIT SUSPECT FROM BAD IPDM. AFTER MORE DEEP TEST FOUND THE PROBLEM IN THE FUSE HOLE (CONTAMINATION OR RUST IN THE BLADES) WAS CLEANEAD FUSE REPLACED AND NOW ITS WORKING PROPERTLY.
