- FOUND: verified concern, found no fault codes stored in ECM, attempted to test drive but vehicle would not stay on. inspected fuel trims during short idle and found trims to be excessively lean, performed visual inspection of engine bay and found aftermarket intake hose to not be installed properly causing a large vacuum leak, adjusted intake to fit properly and symptoms disappeared, test drove vehicle and vehicle operated normally. no further action is required. if problem reappears recommend installing OEM intake hose.
