  • FOUND: was unable to verify concern, when vehicle arrived, it started normally, tow truck driver mentioned he adjusted battery terminal clamps as they were loose. test drove vehicle, and found no issues, observed fuel trims while driving and found fuel trims to be normal. found no related faults in any control module, tested battery and alternator and found both to be operating normally, tested fuel pressure at fuel rail and found fuel pressure to be within specification. no further action is needed, vehicle is operating normally recommend customer visit again if problem persists

  • FOUND: tank full with diesel, pumped entirety of diesel fuel out of fuel tank using electric fuel pump. inspected spark plugs and combustion chamber for possibility of flooding and could not find any signs of flooding. cleaned spark plug firing tips and re installed, once tank was empty filled tank with 10 gallons of gasoline and preceded to start engine, engine was difficult to start at first but once diesel was purged out once more, engine started flawlessly. test drove vehicle for 20 minutes and no problems arose. recommend replacing engine oil and filter if vehicle was cranked excessively prior to having vehicle towed in. recommend adding fuel system cleaner to fuel tank as well.

  • FOUND: verified concern, found codes p0057, p0161 indicating fault in the heater control circuit of bank 2 oxygen sensor. tested heter circuit from PCM to sensor connector and found no faults, found appropriate voltage with key on engine off, and with engine running, performed resistance test on oxygen sensor and found resistance was out of range. replace sensor – found code p00328 stored. indicating bank 1 knock sensor, circuit was high. tested resistance at knock sensor connector and found resistance to be 3 times specified amount. recommend replacing sensor on both banks as well as harness to prevent future failures.
  • KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR – Remove & Replace – LE,SE,XLE,V6 Both – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold.]
  • Oxygen Sensor – remove and Replace
